Preview AADSAS 2014 Application?

Hey Everyone,

Is there a way to preview this year's upcoming AADSAS application? If not, can anyone post a link with last year's application so I can get a sense of what to expect when applying to dental schools?? Thanks!

I need to dig it out from my favorites on my computer, but the biggest thing to know is the personal statement is only allowed 4500 characters. Which equals about 1.5 pages. Not very long! Also it's good to have notes of all your extracurriculars and their time commitments (like total hours or hours per week). It'll make that section faster. Other than that it's basic info about yourself.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am aware of the personal statement being restricted to 4500 characters. My main concern was whether there are other "mini essays" that we need to write for the application?

I think I wrote 2 "mini" essays for the schools I applied to. They're supplement applications. The AADSAS app is a unified application system which contains all your bio, grades and the 4500 character personal statement. The supplemental applications can be obtained on each school's individual websites or emailed/mailed to you once the schools receive your AADSAS app. Then it's your duty to find out when and how to fill out your supplementals. Most just require you to send in a check.

This is exactly what is on the AADSAS. No other essays other than the personal statement and a few short answer questions pertaining to dexterity of disadvantaged status if it applies to you.
