I took the MCAT last April, and i notice a lot of people are panicking about this April's exam (as I was at this time last year), so I will offer advice.
I used materials from a variety of companies: Princeton Review, Examkrackers, Kaplan Big Red Book & Workbook, Columbia Review Bookstore books
Verbal Advice
Examkrackers verbal is very close to the real thing, and Princeton Review's Verbal is also very good practice. I would strongly discourage the Kaplan verbals because they do not resemble the real MCAT at all.
Biology
I would suggest doing many practice exams and study the questions you get wrong. You will keep seeing the same concepts coming up over and over. Study bio intensively and continuously review it so that you don't forget the facts. I loved Examkrackers's bio book, and used the Examkrackers practice tests and princeton review practice tests. Columbia review bookstore books & Kaplan bookstore books were also good for bio, but not as good as Exakrackers and Princeton Review.
Physics
I would suggest doing many practice tests for physics as well, and highly recommend the Examkrackers 1001 physics book because it reinforces concepts. You'll notice that these concepts keep coming up on the practice tests. I think there is a rumor that Examkrackers physics is more difficult than the real thing, but this is false! Examkrackers prepares very well for physics.
Princeton Review practice tests & Kaplan bookstore book practice tests were also good for physics. I did not study physics from Princeton Review or Kaplan, but took their practice tests.
Chemistry
I would suggest many practice tests for chem as well, and also highly recommend Examkrackers 1001 chemistry book. As above, I studied chemistry from Examkrackers books, but did practice tests from Princeton Review and Kaplan and Columbia Review and found them excellent as well.
Organic Chemistry
Again, I would suggest numerous practice tests. I used the 1001 orgo book, but I didn't like it as much as the chemistry and physics books.
I hope that this is helpful to you.
Best of luck!
