I have performed extensive search on the forum to look at UCLA IDP program and interview process but it seems like there isn't too much info out there. I therefore request anybody who has either interviewd at UCLA previously to share their experiences with us.
Any info regarding the written test, practical test, the school in general with regards to pros and cons will be sincerely appreciated.

hey all,
i was intewrviewed in ucla last and got waitlisted and then acceptance too....for theory i guess paet 2 decks are okay...for practicals i practiced on typhodont for class 2, crown prep for gold on molars and pfm on premolar and upper incisor...but all that matters is personal interview...your confidence....by the way i didn't accept ucla..

Hey guys...congrats for u all for the Interview call to UCLA...

I was interviewd last year and the interview format is --- there will be 2 batch of students... and the interview will be for 2 days for each student

1. Monday - Financial Aid meeting and Personal Interview ( One batch of students who ever have scheduled will be having their personal interview with the pannel of professors --- It will be a 15 min interview --- Dress formally and Try to be urself and tell tehm ur experience in ur country and ur experience in this country... The most important thing is Be yourself)

2. Tuesday:
Morning: All the students who were called for the interview --- will be having a written exam --- I think it is for 3 hours... the exam starts at 8:00 --- be there on time --- the exam is Multiple choice questions and Basically Part II questions will be asked in the exam... I think there were about 100 questions....

Afternoon: In the afternoon everyone will be having the practical exam..--- u would have to bring ur own handpiece --- anyhow u will be told what to bring by the co-ordinator --- the procedures u have to do is (What we did last year) a Class II in 19 and fill it with amalgam, PFM on 8, Class II on 4(no filling required) and an MOD onlay on 30 .... U will have 4 hours to do all this....make sure u manage ur time properly

3. Wednesday: the other batch of people will be called for the personal interview and Financial aid meeting
