ok so I know cortisol and aldosterone wont be produced but i just read on uworld that norepinephrine would be normal.

now im confused, i thought in primary - every hormone that adrenal makes doesnt get made cuz it is destroyed. why would the NE(medulla region) be spared?

2nd Q - is primary same as Addisons ?

1) Addison’s is strictly destruction of the cortex. Typically due to antibodies targeting that specific tissue. For example, one of the known antibodies is a 21 hydroxylase antibody (only going to impact that cortex).
