Do all schools prescreen the primary application before they send you a secondary? I know that the Univ of California schools do, but I wasn't sure if all schools do.

Actually, most schools do not screen primaries. At these schools everyone who submits a primary application will be sent a secondary. You can see which schools screen their secondaries in the MSAR.

NO WAY..... most of schools don't do primary screening?? not even GPA?

I think all of the Florida schools screen primaries, BUT it is for 3.0 gpa and 24. I think one may be a 25 MCAT

Some state schools have screens for their OOS, but these screens are usually pretty low.

Several of the schools don't actually screen, they just tell you they will not consider you if you don't have the 3.0 and 24 (or whatever) minimum.
