I am applying this upcoming cycle. Does submitting your primary mid June (Ex: June 15) vs June 5ish (1st batch) affect your chances at T20? Even some of the other schools in the T50. After looking at CycleTrack and Admit I saw interview times didn't correlate. My plan if I do end up submitting it mid-June is to have most of my secondaries done so when I'm verified by July 15-23ish, I can submit on the first day. I realize secondary submission is what matters. I feel like admissions wouldn't care if they received someone's secondary on July 5 vs July 25, but some reassurance would help. I also have heard UCs, Vanderbilt and some other schools want it in faster (not sure how accurate it is). I would say I have strong stats and a well developed theme for context.

Submitting mid-June vs first day will not affect you chances. It might have a positive effect, in fact, if those extra 10 days give you the opportunity to make a careful review of the application such that you catch typos and other errors that you missed the first time. So many people apply on day 1 and ask a week later what they ought to do about an error (or more than one) that they now see.

Schools are unlikely to make interview invitations before late July and most continue making interview invitations through November (some into January or February). It isn't FIFO (first in-first out) but it is a continual sorting and skimming off the top. I've interviewed applicants in January who submitted secondaries in July so don't expect that you will get an immediate reply.... the vast majority of applications arrive in the first 4 weeks and it takes schools 4-6 months to get to all of the top applicants who will be invited to interview.

No. There is no "batch"
Your file will enter the verification queue when your primary app, application fee, and all transcripts have been received by AMCAS.
