As far as fin aid changes goes, in theory it should reduce the amount of stafford you can receive by $20,000. It is a great deal if you are committed to primary care. It is very hard to get though if you haven't received it yet and the deadline for this year has passed.

i just got the letter saying its mine if i want it. i have never been a part of it before.
i guess i know what it is. i was wondering what others thought of it. im pretty sure i want to go into primary care.

What's there to think? Its free money if you want primary care. Even if you don't, the terms of repayment aren't that bad (not great but managable). Anyway, it should be a no brainer.
