I applied to Pritzker little late in the application process. I was wondering if anyone has got interview invites from Pritzker recently? Is anyone interviewing at Pritzker in November/December?

Pritzker, show me some love. 😛

I just interviewed there and it was AWESOME!!
I would love to go there...

My app was complete the first week of september and I got the interview invite September 24th.

It's hard to compare because this interview process has proved to be very random.

yeah. My app was complet 10/1 and no word. I thought that they would always look at apps in the order they were complete. Am I mistaken? 😕

I was complete on August 30 and I received an interview invite on September 16. I interview on November 11. So excited! 😀

So I called the admissions office and asked about the status of my application, and the lady said that the committee has reviewed my application and chose not to grant me an interview. Then I asked if I was on hold, and she just said, "no no hold." Why couldn't she just get to the point? WE REJECTED YOU, blah 😡

I submitted my app by 10/15. Got an interview invite on 11/3. Interview on 12/2.

I have no idea why i was processed so fast. Most other applicants have better stats than me (34/ 3.72 at UW-Mad).I think it is because I am taking a year off to be in Americorps, have had one year of teaching, 3 years of research, 3 years of volunteer work. Also, I am Indian. And we all know a boat load of indians apply to Illinois schools and have great stats (large indian population in the state for those who don't know). So I really have no idea why i was picked.

It seems like every week someone asks why they were rejected, so I am giving my 2 cents and I am not trying to brag. I actually feel bad for those who got rejected, especially ones with killer stats. I know for a fact taht most doctors that UC produces go on into the academic field. Maybe they are looking for people who enjoy teaching.

GOBUCKY!

I have teaching experience too. but no love from UChicago yet 🙁 I hope all their interview spots are not filled already (and I get one too!). I love their research focused program.

Pritzker, show some love to instaters 😳

I just received an interview invite from Chicago (August MCATer) for early January. My stats are 29 (11V, 10BS, 8PS)/3.63 BCPM, 3.6 overall (Yale Undergrad, UF Law School, post-bac, City College of New York- my post-bac average, just science, is a 3.86). I have a law degree, was a practicing IP attorney for three years and also served as a professor at two colleges (law classes). I also have a truckload of volunteer and clinical research experience.

I am so excited. I would go to UChicago in a second! Is anyone else going to be there in early January?

Good luck everyone.

Good luck on the interview, Vtucci.

I have a feeling that I am going to hear from Pritzker this week. My file has been under review for almost 3 weeks now. Hopefully, it will be an interview invite :luck: .

vtucci, can I ask when you received notification of being complete from UChicago? Also, did the invite come by email or snailmail? I am an August MCATer as well and have been "under review" there for almost 4 weeks. I have a feeling that they are going to be my first rejection. 😳 Pritzker seems to have rejected lots of applicants with killer stats, and I do have the good numbers, but I like to think that other things stand out in my application as well. Thanks.

Congrats to everyone who has received an invite! :luck:

Thanks nimer. I hope you get ur acceptance from Pritzker soon, if you haven't already. Good luck :luck: UI Urbana is the second feeder school for Pritzker after UChicago itself.

I am aware of this fact... and it makes me very happy 🙂
