Hello Everyone. I was wondering what are all the private dental schools in the U.S.? I am a Canadian minority student and was wondering about entrance to American dental schools.

There are a ton. Usually the ones with odd names like Case Nova Marquette, and Creighton. The state ones are usually named for the state, Iowa, Ohio State etc.. (don't be fooled by AZ, its private and has like 4 names)

Another consideration, Some are private but state related. Meaning they get funding from the state to take some state kids and help the community. Marquette is an example of this.

Go to www.predents.com check out the school stats and if there is not a huge difference between instate and out of state tuition. It probaly is private.

Arizona is private, but last I checked only accepted US citizens.

Don't forget the Ivys... Pennsylvania, Columbia and Harvard. Can't believe you guys left out the ultimate private... NYU.
