im having problems trying to refinance and consolidate my student loans from pharmacy school. i have an unique situation which is making this task very difficult. first of all i was the first class to go through my pharmacy school. being the first class we were not able to get goverment student loans. my school was not accredited until after we (the first class) took the boards. so all my student loans are PRIVATE LOANS. the several banks that i have contacted wont touch another private loan with a ten foot pole. or if they are willing to refinance the interest rates are just as horrible as what im paying now. when i graduated i was paying about 700 dollars a month for my loans but now im paying about 1100 dollars. anyone have personal experience on what to do? anyone try to refinance private loans and were sucsessfull? if you can tell me which banks or companies that you used. (you can pm me if need be... i dont wish for this thread to be a comercial) i would be much gratefull.
