You get to do your own cases here most days. It is not medical direction, only supervision the day you’re on call.

How often is call? Pre or post-call days off?

Fully staffed with 6 physicians it averages to be about 1 weekday per week and 1.5 weekends per month, meaning about 6 months of only 1 weekend and 6 months with 2 weekends.
Important point, as the schedule allows, which is most of the time, weekdays we come in at 1500 to start the call, so it’s 16, not 24 hours.
Don’t forget about 10 weeks of vacation per year, we are always looking to improve work-life balance.
