ok besides the quality of education, why would someone choose to go to private vs. public pharm school????🙄

any sugg

I would not go so far as to say the education is any better. Some cases yes, some no. U of A from I am told is one of the top schools in the country. It is a public school. The choice of why an individual would choose a private school over a public one depends on said individuals preferences. It could also be do to a lack of options. In the event a student gets accepted into more than one program I am sure which school suits them best is the one the end up choosing. However things like course load, environment, length of program, faculty all contribute and sometimes outweigh the obvious financial differences in attending. Why the majority of people do what they do is trivial. Hope this helps.

I go to a private school. I based my decision on location (4 hours away from home but still closer than most pharmacy schools) and length of program (six years). I wouldn't choose this school just because it is private or discount another school just because it is public.
