I've been to more than a handful medical school interviews so far. Without fail, at each interview there have been at least 4 young men who sit down with their suit jackets still buttoned up. Stop! No! Bad! When you do this your jacket and shirt gets bunched up and you look lumpy but also juvenile and unprofessional. Not a good look for a medical school interview! Please stop! It burns!

I've seen threads about interview wear do's and don't for women but none for men, so here it is!

Good luck on the interview trail everyone!

And make sure you cut those crisscrossing threads at the back of jackets and skirts...those are just holding the slits together so they don’t catch things on the rack.

For ladies: you can also clip the threads holding the pocket closed and tuck in the pocket flap for a smoother line on the jacket. Some of us don’t need ANY extra bulk whatsoever...we’re plenty curvy without help.

Yes! Jackets still connected at the bottom to make a weird flap are my top pet peeve.

I actually got yelled at by a general surgeon for sitting down with my white coat unbuttoned. I got hella confused.

But yes, unbutton your suit jacket when you sit down. And he was a ****ing weirdo.

Well I'm screwed then lol, they gave me a white coat one size too small at the beginning of med school and I haven't had the time to go through the hassle of getting a new one so my white coat literally can't button
