Hey you guys so my friend doesn't have an account and is wanting some help with this and im not sure what she should do either so i decided to ask the brilliant minds at SDN

She never met her father and turns out he lives in a foreign country and she recently found him on facebook and never even knew what he looked like, could this be a suitable topic for the essay along with growing up with a single parent? I was thinking that maybe many students applying grow up with a single parent and maybe its not the best topic
2. as a child she used to bounce from one cousin's house to the next living in a spare room with her mother and the essay would follow with it taught her to value family and support systems that may people do not have etc.
