okay so im on my 3rd year of college. nn recently i tried calculating my science gpa so far and i was pretty shocked at what my gpa was. IT WAS VERY LOW. so i had many thoughts going on my mind whether i should still stick to dentistry or try something else. i keep telling myself im gonna work harder every semester but results tell me i didnt. soo im kind of at a point where i want to just give up everything n try something im good at. maybe science isnt my thing you know? but if i think about it i worked my butt off for 3 years nn i still want to raise my gpa n try get into dental school. I've been working at a dentist for over a year nn i really like doing the dental work. The thing about me is that I dont fail class but barely pass a class with C's or B's. So i'm really thinking about delaying my graduation nn repeat some classes that i got C's in. nn on this forum i read that people with low gpa apply for past-bac or master's program. can anyone explain to me about that program in detail?

Hi. We can't really help you unless you post the range of your gpa and DAT scores. However, if your undergrad GPA is fixable within a year or so, go for a post-bacc...which is just taking more upper div science classes. You can do this by delaying graduation for another year or find a structured post-bacc program somewhere to improve your GPA. Another option is to find a 1-2 year special masters program that is heavy in the sciences (e.g. biomedical sciences) to establish a separate graduate GPA.
