There's a line on the AMCAS fee waiver application asking about how much I earned from work in the past year. I earned a small amount of money at a summer job last year, so I did not file for taxes. I filled out the fee waiver application before receiving my W2, so I estimated the amount I earned. Turns out I earned almost twice as much as what I put down for my earnings for the year. It's still a small amount and I would qualify for the fee waiver either way, but the amount I put down for 'wages earned' is quite a bit lower than how much I actually earned, and I have to submit my W2 as part of the application. What should I do? I can't go back and change it. 🙁

I'm pretty sure that the initial application you submit just weeds out people who do not qualify within the 300% poverty guideline. The decision to grant/decline a fee waiver comes after they verify your information with the documents you send. I suspect that they will just correct the discrepancy, run the numbers, and grant the waiver if you fall within the 300% cut-off.

I highly doubt they will decline your app just because you incorrectly entered your earnings.

So I got the fee waiver and that means I get to apply to 14 schools for free on the primary application. I noticed that secondary applications usually offer waivers if you were accepted for FAP. Does this apply to 14 schools or can I waive my application fee for more than 14 med schools?

Yes, the secondary fee can be waived at more than 14 schools
