Problem with PS formatting...

So I tried to copy and paste my PS from word into aacomas and in word it is right now 4503 characters (i know i have to cut out three) but when i paste into the app it is 5019 characters. How can i stop this from happening? I tried pasting it into notepad first and the same thing happens when i paste into the application.

I'm only guessing but the character count in the app may be counting the spaces as characters

It is counting that many characters due to the formatting that Word uses (you don't see it, but it's there). You may need to paste your essay into Notepad, save it as a .txt file, then open that and paste from there into the application. If that doesn't work, you may need to simply type up the essay into the application's window manually...
