Hi all...you see I have this problem and I'm wondering if anyone can relate. I am officially addicted to SDN, like I need the patch or something. My day revolves around checking threads, I feel like I have a drug problem, all I think about is dental school, and it's as if SDN feeds the hunger for more information...I need help...anyone else experiencing similar problems? 🙁

If that means you are experiencing similar problems it makes me feel a lot better, you were like the brad pitt of SDN for a while, you and your amazing acceptances...with your amazing DAT score 😍 lol
 
Do I ever!!!!! I swear it's like my form of nicotine, i'm jittery, nervous, and a wreck without it!!!! It's a problem!!! lol

I have a serious problem as well...my wife yells at me to get off of SDN and onto homework.

The other night when SDN was down, I was FREAKIN' OUT! I seriously thought the world was coming to an end.

I get on here and time flies....I have no control! ARGGGGGGGGGGG:scared:
 
Me too, like I somehow manage to force myself to eat dinner, and do some homework and studying (in front of SDN) and then shut down the computer only to go through serious withdrawls...lol...I'll then wake up in the morning be totally late, but have the absolute need to check SDN..the up side is at least i'm learning something, I guess..lol
 
Thats funny, cus I made that post while cooking dinner, and I am eating right now! I guess this vice is better than others! btw, did I mention that I learned how to make free-base out of cocaine in ochem? Also, I learned that it is really supposed to be pronounced coca-ine. I guess I am learning something irl. HAHA

now you gotta find a 12 step program which will help you break the SDN addiction. see if you can get on the show Intervention on A&E.

The first step is usually admitting that your addicted.
 
Fortunately for me, my "addiction" has faded away. I mostly stay away from Pre-Dental, and occasionally lurk in The Lounge.
 
I have SDN set as my home page - I guess that makes me addicted too!!!😀

I had to remove it from my bookmarks toolbar, and now I manually type it in to prevent me from getting on too often. I know I have few posts, but I've read all the threads from the past few months! I'm gonna try to check only 1 or 2 times a day... maybe
 
How do you get any exercise if all you do is refresh SDN? You must weigh like 400 pounds each...🙂
 
I'm exercising my brain, DUH! I would post a picture but knowing my luck some ****** like that nickole person is going to take it to the ADA and be like here she is, the cheater!!! She and armorshell made jokes together on SDN, can't you put it together????? That's how armorshell got his nearly perfect scores!!!!!!!!!!
 
I just realized I am addicted to SDN....wounderfull!

I check SDN 5-10 times a day.

Ah oh well, SDN is the bomb
 
I can stop at anytime, why would I stop now an hour and half away from a micro practical I haven't studied for. I wonder if there are any complications of SDN addiction with being senior, being accepted, and generaly not giving a crap anymore.
 
I'm neither a senior, nor am I accepted...so my life is pretty much over...lol

OMG same here, ever since I didn't get into UNC.. I feel like there is something seriously WRONG with me and need to come to SDN to get help... I am sure the addiction will be GONE once WE get accepted into dental school!!! 👍

SDN has been feeding my addiction for awhile now. Its a beautiful thing! Bad thing is I check it about every 20 mins!!!! When I SHOULD BE STUDYING!
 
You know its bad when they shut SDN down to do maintenance, and you keep refreshing your browser, hoping that it works.
 
There is really nothing wrong with an SDN addiction... Oh man! I have been watching the end of broadcast screen on my TV and I didn't even realize whatever show was on ended, I have 3 phone calls I must have missed and I haven't let the dog out since noon...but I do have a record number of posts today...this means I get first prize...it's more like a game or a race than an addiction. See, no problem. See ya later.
 
I have watched my average daily post numbers go from 0.1 to 2.03, I just like seeing that number go up.
 
We all can't be as accomplished as Armorshell, maybe some day. 🙄
 
Here I am sitting in graduate level biochem lecture, reading SDN. No wait, now posting on SDN. Save me :scared:
 
So my friends took my out this weekend and told me I couldn't use SDN at all...so I was checking it all weekend from my phone...sad sad scenario

I solve that problem by frequently losing my cell phone.
