Just a little warning, I called Vandy today to ask for a status check, and they told me that they had sent the letter already. I got my interview, but just warning everyone, checking up with the schools is a good idea every once in a while because things can get lost in the mail like my interview letter.

Something similar happened with me and Rush, I saw my app. as incomplete online, but I had filled it out a month prior. I called them and asked what was going on, promptly thereafter my application was updated as complete. I think it is safe to say, half the schools mess up half the applications.

Also, take off your SPAM filters on e-mail I filtered two secondaries

Good point. I have another question, I will be going home for the Christmas break, and like all of you, I will obviously be receiving a tremendous amount of mail.(i wish) How reliable is the post office in forwarding the mail to a different address, or should I call each school and change my address for the month long break?

Thanks

I don't trust the mail sorters around here!! I get pieces of my neighbors' mail regularly, so I think they must be getting my mail, too. 🙁 Perhaps I should call Vanderbilt for a status check, too . . .

I didn't even think about Christmas break. Don't most schools (except Vandy) email invites?

I wouldn't forward any mail if I were you. Sometimes it gets stuck and takes forever to get to the right place (I had stuff show up three weeks later and only moved 4 miles away). The best bet is to have someone you trust pick up your mail. That's what I will be doing when I leave for 3 weeks over the winter. I'll also call up every school the day before I leave to see if anything is on the way. I think schools are pretty understanding and realize that people will be out of touch around the holidays.
