Can someone lay out the different procedures you do as an anesthesiologist? I know of a few (intubations, line placements) but feel like there must be many more since it's a procedure-heavy field that I don't know of.

Not an exhaustive list but here are several procedures we do frequently:

Nerve blocks: Interscalene, axillary, femoral, sciatic, popliteal, intercostal, epidural, spinal

Line placements: PIV, central,Swan-Ganz, arterial

Intubations, fiberoptic intubations

Thanks .. for those of you who really enjoy procedures, is that list varied enough and not boring after your nth one that you still enjoy it?

After the nth appendectomy/Cholecystectomy/C-Section/ORIF; they all can become routine....

Besides what has already been listed, every anesthetic you administer is a "procedure".
