Anyone taking the jan 21st pcat? I am... my plan was to start studying for it right when winter break started... but i have been procrastinating like mad til now.

I have approx. 21 days to prepare. Is it poss. to prepare for the pcat within this amount of time. Maybe it is... maybe it isn't... how many hours of pcat studying a day do you think it'll require? I guess I wanted to post this so i can get some encouragement lol. My plan is to go through the kaplan pcat book and then for last few days before the exam, i'll just do practices tests off of the kaplan and barron.... Any comments?

Honestly, I know this is going to sound crazy but I HARDLY studied. I didn't do great, but I did alright. I came out with an 86 composite. I feel like if you paid attention in class you will be fine. Focus on Organic chem and on calculus. If you feel good about those, then the rest shouldn't be too much of a problem. The biggest piece of advice that I can give is WORK FAST. The test is designed to make you run out of time, so do the problems as fast as you possibly can. If there's something that you can't do, skip it and come back to it.

i prepared intensely for 4 months and got a 98. this test isn't difficult, but you must work through test questions very rapidly. expect to be mentally drained by the third section. bring a red bull.... 😉

good luck. it is possible to prepare for this test in three weeks but ask yourself how much you remember from biology, chem, math. if you remember a lot you will do fine.

here's to 2006
