I'm hoping to gather some information about professor careers at Caribbean med schools. Any insight you can share is appreciated!

How much does a professor at a Caribbean medical school make? Are there tenure tracks? Do preclinical professors do research, or just teach? Do many of these professors take their positions because they're unable to get positions at US medical schools?

Not sure about how much they make. I believe there are tenure tracks, though. Preclinical professors do more teaching than research. No, many of these professors can get positions at US medical schools. As a matter of fact, many of SGU's professors originally taught at US medical schools, but then retired and decided to come to SGU.

Most teaching are PhDs, not MDs.

Second, why not just email the schools directly and get an answer from the source?
