Hey y'all!

At my undergrad, premed advising requires all professor letters to be submitted by June 2nd in order to be included in the committee letter, and that failure to have at least 3 letters in would suspend my committee letter and likely force me to submit the professor letters individually to schools on my own. I've had 2 out of 3 submit theirs in early May, so those are all good, but the 3rd professor hasn't responded to my two follow-ups. Maybe he's busy writing letters as we speak, or doing other things, but it's been almost a week since I last reached out and I'm getting nervous since the deadline is next week. I can't imagine he forgot, and we had such a good relationship so I'm not sure what's going on. Am I overthinking this? Should I send another follow-up at on Friday or Monday, or just wait and see? Worst case scenario I have to submit all 3 letters individually instead of using committee letter, but would med schools think this situation reflects poorly on me or would they understand that this stuff happens?

I would've asked someone else if I had known it would be like this, but I can't change my recommenders on the committee letter platform so I'm kinda stuck with this...

Yeah that sucks. I would email one more time a couple days prior to the deadline on Monday and emphasize the deadline date. Otherwise there isn't much more you can do.

If the professor agreed before then chances are they're super busy to respond. Just keep emailing them but don't spam either. Talk to your committee's adviser and ask if they'll give you an extension.
