Anyone else feel COMPLETELY underqualified for med school? I don't know how I got in, and I already feel 15 steps behind everyone else. Anyone share my feelings?

you know what man, who cares? you're all on a level playing field now! mcat scores, gpa, ECs, etc. are all irrelevant!
the 1/150 ranked person from your medical school will be called doctor in 4 years from now. and what about #150/150?
doctor.
Did you mean inequity? Iniquity means being evil / wicked. Haha so I definitely thought this thread would be about something else!
not really

Nope. It's med school, not being the Pope...
Unless you applied to the Vatican City College of Medicine (VCCoM). I'm pretty sure they have a 38 year combined MD/Cardinal program.
I interviewed there. I was doing good until I banged my shin on the table. One GD it and they look at you like you showed up with your wang hanging out...
On point, the AAMC has assembled the most formidable and ridiculous filter of people currently operating in the world today. We know it as 'the application process'. AMCAS, MCAT, Secondaries, Essays, Interviews, LoRs, LoIs, etc. The fact that you got through the filter and into a medical school means you are definitely qualified to be there; many of the people who got stuck in the filter could have probably succeeded as well. Best of luck, you earned it!
Is the filter any tougher than it's been for the past 30 or 40 years? And thank goodness they've made it such a tough process (hopefully I will find most med students to be smart). But remember that a small few (around 2 or 3% at most medical schools) don't get through it. Secondaries, essays, interviews, and LORs do not really speak to how prepared a student is for the intellectual task of completing medical school. On point, the AAMC has assembled the most formidable and ridiculous filter of people currently operating in the world today. Good answers:Lol, yep. And the 'hypothetical' questions on euthanasia and abortion clearly aren't all that 'hypothetical' at VCCoM. If you find yourself answering in more than 3 words, it's wrong.
