Technology Program to Batch Hard-Encode Subtitles to AVI's?

So my situation:

I have a bunch of AVI's that I want to hard encode the subtitles to. I have the .SRT files which I can already convert to .SSA without too much of a problem. I can encode the subtitles to the avi's one file at a time but that's tedious. Is there a program out there (runs on Windows) that will do the entire lot of files at once? Any suggestions? FREEEEEEware would be great. If all else fails, I may end up paying for something. Bah... too lazy to finish the rest of these files.

I'm an idiot. The program I'm using already has that feature. Wish I figured that out before I finished 10 of the files.

(out of curiousity) are you using vdub or vdubmod?

I am using virtual dub yes.
