programs in probation

If a program is orderd closed because of not fulfilling the conditions, what happens to the residents?
I heard UT-Galveton is in prety bad shape. will be sorrry to see them go!

Actually, UT-Galveston is in much better shape then before. They just had a new dean....I don't think that UT-Galveston program would ever close, because there are always lots of pts and need from the community around it. The positive thing is that they are working on their negatives.
 
UTMB in Galveston is not that bad.

Probation is a funny animal because some awful programs know how to fudge the paperwork and not get on probation. Others are not that bad and get on probation.

UTMB has gotten better over the last few years. I can think of a dozen programs in 5 seconds that are worse.
