hi everyone, i've never been to texas nor do i know much about the state, but i am interested in gyn onc and hear anderson is a big deal. does anyone from the area have any suggestions about residency programs that are worthy to look at for those interested in onc? thank you!

I rotated on the St. Luke's Gyn Onc service for a month (Baylor College of Medicine residents and MD Anderson fellows rotate through that service - the same surgeons operate at both MD Anderson and St. Luke's). I really enjoyed my experience. There was a lot of good teaching for both students and residents, and they let you do quite a bit in the OR. Long hours though, as expected.
Anyway, I'd consider the Baylor program for sure.
