Perhaps this thread could benefit some of us applying next year, the idea being that we could list out those programs that have in the past not given interviews to their rotators....I realize that maybe some rotators really screwed up and thus didn't deserve an interview but still it wouldn't hurt to list these programs out....

So far I have seen on the interview thread:

OHSU

Anyone else care to add to the list?

there are quite a few that don't give all rotators interviewers. i actually consider it a good thing, b/c why waste time/money on an interview if they are not seriously considering you?

university of southern california

Honestly though it's not necessarily a matter of "screwing up" on a rotation. I know of average rotators that go through top notch research electives not even counting on an interview which is totally fine if they just want good letters and publications.

Information collected from applicants, attendings, and residents from this year:

Wake Forest
Yale
U Penn
Boston

Brown
Boston
Northwestern-2x
NYU
OHSU
Penn State
U Penn
USCal
Utah
UTSW
Wake Forest
Yale

I was under the impression Boston U gives interviews to all their rotators

But to add to the list

Columbia Presbyterian (even if you honor and assist in research)
Wayne State (even if you honor if you are not from Wayne State or live in Detroit)

Thats all for now

some programs consider the rotation the actual interview and do not invite you to come back because they've seen you for a month!

UT Houston is an example
