i know this has been touched on in this forum before but i still don't quite know what it means. i hear having a good psych gpa can offset a bad psych gre score. but, does haveing a good psych gpa mean you dont have to take the psych gre if a school only recommends it but does not require it?

thanks!

You roll the dice and you take your chances... You should be able to do fine on the psych GRE if you have a strong GPA... I think it's a waste of time, but if they recommend it "strongly" why would you put yourself at a disadvantage with others who follow their recommendation?
