Which neuro residencies have work/life balance and which ones are known to not have that? I know that residency is supposed to be hard and you're supposed to learn, and I will work very hard regardless. Plus, all the ACGME accredited programs are up to certain standards so I'm sure all of them provide good training. If possible, please limit responses to providing information about programs that provide or do not provide good work/life balance. Thank you.

look for programs that have all of their clinics and VA hospitals near their main hospital (like, walking distance), and look for programs that have all of their sites use the same EMR (preferably Epic). Aim for the places that give you your mornings free of mandatory lectures or morning reports so that you can do your rounds in peace, and have enough time to write up your notes without having to deal with an abundance fo mandatory talks. Also look for a place that will allow you to moonlight. These are things I kept an eye out for.
