Prometric center issues - could anyone PLEASE help?

Hi all, I'm taking Step 1 on Aug 31st at the Prometric center located in Washington DC. I confirmed my appointment online on Prometric's website, but when I called the center over the telephone, they told me they don't have any record of my appointment yet.

Is this normal? I re-checked Prometric website like 3 times and nothing seems to be wrong. I'm extremely nervous about this

Try calling again. This happened to me, but it turned out the first person I called was just incompetent and didn't know how to use their computer system. I called the next day and they found me in the system

I tried calling again today and they STILL don't have me in their system, even though the Prometric website says everything's fine and I have confirmed my appointment like 10 times. I tried locating a telephone number for Prometric support and the only number I find directs me to an annoying computer system that tells me everything's fine, my head feels like its going to explode because of all this unnecessary stress

EDIT: Just in case anyone else has to go through this, you're supposed to call Prometric, NOT the testing center, for confirming your appointment. According to the Prometric lady, the testing center only has your name registered after you take the test.
