I just wanted to post this because new students are joining SDN every day and may not be familiar with the DAT test drive. I have posted the link with more information. I recommend it to my students because it allows you to go to your testing center, get familiar with the computer, the headphones and the test environment. That way there are no surprises on test day. I lot of students get very nervous and experience anxiety leading up to the test and this might help with that a bit.

I just wanted to add that for me, the test drive was invaluable for the QR section. From doing research on SDN, I couldn't determine if I would be able to use the keyboard number pad for the on-screen calculator. Some people said they could use theirs during their test while others said they had to point and click each number on screen. By doing the test drive, I was able to verify the keyboard number pad was functional at my testing facility and as a result, I practiced a ton and got used to using a keypad for calculations. It's much faster to use a physical number pad than to point and click each number. Good luck everyone!

Great advice.

I did not do the test drive and was so nervous during exam day, I had completely forgotten to try the calculator. When your hands are shaking, using the mouse to maneuver around the keyboard onscreen definitely eats away at time.
