Prometric has been down for the past 2 days

I want to reschedule my test so I can take it earlier because I'm going on vacation, but the site has been down and I can't do anything. Is there another way to reschedule the exam? This is ridiculous, how can a testing website be down and then charge money for rescheduling an exam within business days, yet their website is down during business days.

Same here, I have my exam on monday and I want to reschedule. I hope it'll be back up by tomorrow

I have the number and I called them and the automated message said that the business hours are Monday-Friday from 8 am-8 pm. So I have no clue how to reschedule now since the website is down. Do you think If I call Monday morning (ik its cutting it close) they will be able to reschedule me the day of?

since it's not my fault that there website is down, they should allow me to do so...i hope

There website has been down for days, yet watch them say it's not their fault. They are a money grubbing website with probably little customer care.

They should take that into consideration and if they give you difficulties I would contact the ada directly. In fact I would send them an email now as proof you want to reschedule and the site is down. I would also send the screen shot I attached for additional proof.

I don't think you can reschedule the day of. Maybe this particular situation may change things, but it is definitely risky.

They should make an exception because he has been trying for days. I am sure everyone is aware of it, including ada and will make exceptions.

Any luck? I have an exam on Tuesday. Does anyone know how the "administration fee" works when you cancel between 24hours-5days before your exam?
Anywhere from 5days+ says "reschedule or cancel" with the given fee. But under 5 days only gives the option to "cancel". So does this mean I can't reschedule? I just wanted to make sure I don't have to pay the administration fee and then pay ANOTHER exam registration fee.

You can reschedule within 5 days but it'll cost you $100.00.

I had this problem when I was taking the MCAT and now again with the USMLE. No matter what stage you are in your medical career that ****ty website owns you.

The local test center cannot schedule, reschedule, or cancel your appointment. Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled by the business day prior to the test, at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment."

Well if you're test is tomorrow you'll probably have to take it according to this. Don't bother calling that number either because their only available M-F lol. Prometric sucks!

I agree with what you stated , but if you are not ready I think I would take a chance of forfeiting the money rather than risk a retake. Prometric should take the site being down into consideration, if not there is going to be a lot of angry students.

Just my 2 cents.

I really hope they got hacked or something, because if they are really doing personal maintenance for 3+ days knowing people have to sign up and reschedule tests, then they are the worst.

IMO, because of the screw up with Prometric consideration will be given, if not you will lose the money, but I think you can pay and take it again when they have an opening. The 90 day rule is if you actually take the DAT, I don't think it would apply if you don't take it, you just lose you $$$.

Anyway that is my logic.

Your thoughts?

IDK but I know prometric has terrible customer care and they will do whatever to take ones money.

whats going on with prometric? Did anyone try contacting them on phone, or did any of u guys receive any email regarding the same??

I have been trying to call since 8am sharp and it is connecting me up till the point where it says "here is our automative voice messaging system..." and then it goes mute...it doesn't let my call go through any further. I don't know what's going on. Anyone else experiencing this?
