doesn't look good for me guys ): I had plan on retaking on April 20th but I received an email from my prometric center that they will be rescheduling because of the flooding. I live in Houston and we are dealing with a massive flood warning. I am currently evacuated from my home.

it looks like my prometric center had some damages (they are in flood zone) and I can't get on the highway to go to another center (all under water currently -_-)

uhhhhh my life sucks lol it doesn't look like I can get a reschedule for my exam until early/middle of May. It's just unfortunate because I am in the application cycle for several master programs all waiting for my new DAT scores and it looks like my application won't make it 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Has anyone ever dealt with this? Do you guys think I should email the Masters programs I am interested in about my situation?

Can they transfer you over to a different Prometric center that was unaffected by flooding?

Yes and no. The whole city is currently shut down right now. Don't think they will open until the end of the week, so I can check if they have any available spots. But looking at the prometric availability online most (if not all) of April/May is filled. My problem is getting there, I don't know if the highways will be available to drive any time soon.

Sorry to hear about your situation and the horrible flooding in your area. I always like to look at things from a positive side, so maybe a little more study time can make a difference on your score, or perhaps another solution will come about. I will do some research and see if I can find a solution.

Absolutely, this is a situation completely out of your control. I would at least inform them of the situation and perhaps they will have a solution.

Update: all the Prometric centers are still shut down in my city until next week.

But its okay because the main masters program that I was interested in understood my situation and accepted me anyways 🙂 thanks everyone!
