To anyone out there who has had success either starting or running a clinical services program with an independent or other type of pharmacy, can you explain a little bit about how you made it happen? Some examples would be weight loss/diet programs, smoking cessation, POC testing, etc. My main objective is to find out if anyone is having any profitability with these services. I'm well aware there's plenty of other things (i.e. compounding, LTC, etc) that an independent pharmacy can do to drive revenue. However, I'm interested in learning about how these things go from ideas to reality.
