I can't decide between the two.
😕 I live in San Jose, so SJSU would be very accessible. San Francisco would require an hour's drive 5 days a week and I would have to do summer school (Chemistry course) in order to transfer into the fall post-bac program. However, I have heard so many great things about SFSU's program; it sounds a bit more put together. Plus I have no EC's, and San Francisco might have better opportunities nearby. I haven't gotten too much info from SJSU's program, but I heard in the end it doesn't matter where you attend as long as your GPA and MCAT scores are high. I want to attend Stanford University, would they care where my post-bac was completed?
Has anyone attended SJSUs program and gone to a school like Stanford? How were the professors? Quality of classes. Financial Aid? Did you sign on as a second bac? Any great academic advisors there that you would suggest? Any MCAT prep classes held? Did you feel well prepared for the MCAT, and the medical school application process?
