Hi All,

So for starters I am 20 years young, entering my senior year of undergrad (YAY!) and preparing to take the DAT in July. I am the only person, that I know of, in my home town and college town serious about getting into Dental school as of now. It's no fun being the only one though because I have no one to share the feelings of nervousness and anticipation with of applying and getting called/emailed for an interview with, (when the time comes).

I've seen so many posts on this site about people preparing to take the DAT or having already taken it and with less than a week remaining before the new dental application cycle opens I just want to know are there any other prospective dental school students out there that plan on completing an application (I'm Sure there are!!) and what school(s) are you hoping to gain interview invitations to, ultimately resulting in acceptance into their 2022 dental class? Though, any acceptance is better than no acceptance.

Also, any concerns/worries you currently have about the application cycle?

I recently took the DAT. I will be starting my application next week when it opens up. I am from CA and I hope to get into UCLA or UCSF. Where are you from? Where are you hoping to go?

Thanks for dropping a comment!!
I am from NE but attend school in LA. UCSF is a choice because I would love to live in CA and I've done a nice amount of research on their dental school, though I don't know anyone who goes there. I intend to apply to a handful of schools but as of now my top choices are Meharry Medical College, Rutgers University and Howard COD. You do not want/intend to apply to dental schools in other states? How did you do on the DAT
