prostaglandins

    what importants things about prostaglands is important?

    prostaglandins are examples of lipophillic hormones that bind to cell surface receptors (because they are very big). they have a short life span but they are constantly being produced over and over. they are involved with the inflammatory response. im not sure if any of that is "important" but thats what i know about prostaglandins.
