What is the main way that protists are classified? I saw this question somewhere and I can't remember the answer.

There are 3 domains of classification: Archaea, Bacteria, and Eukarya (ABE). Protists are classified under Eukarya. They can be plantlike (photosynthesis), fungilike (filaments or spores) or animal like (heterotrophic). They can also be either unicellular or multicellular, but they are always eukaryotic.
