Did anyone have a fair amount of these questions on their exam? First Aid just gives 2 fat lists without going into much detail, and you could spend days memorizing every helminth and their disease manifestation.

I decided to focus on the protozoa (seemed more clinically relevant) and only went over the helminthes that I thought were HY (hookworm, roundworm, tapeworm).

How many questions did you have? Also, did you need to know the species name in reference to the helminths, or did you only have to know the common names (when applicable)? Thanks!

I had one question about T. cruzi and one question on why chloroquine wasn't working on the guy who had P. ovale.
