I was wondering if anyone on here has experience with a provisional acceptance being revoked?

I received a provisional acceptance from Salus University because I haven't taken the OAT yet. In my official acceptance letter it states that I need to submit official successful OAT scores by June 1, 2017.

Can anyone who has been accepted let me know what their OAT scores were? I'm so nervous!

Thanks guys!

I think generally if you score above 300 total science and overall but aim for 320-350 you will be ok. You might be able to call anonymously and ask just to be sure?

Okay, thank you! I feel like those scores are going to be so hard for me to get.

I know I have what it takes to succeed in school, but I'm worried my scores aren't going to reflect that. I have the Kaplan book and OAT study cards. I've done some Chad videos too! It's hard to feel really prepared for it!

If you don’t mind me asking, what we’re your stats like? I’m trying to get into Salus too but I’m worried about my GPA:/

My science and overall GPA were around 3.40. I had a committee letter of recommendation from my university, several job experiences as an optician, medical biller for an optometrist, and ophthalmic technician! Also involved with a few non-profits. This OAT is going to make or break me.

Hi....
I’m on the same boat I got a provisional acceptance from Salus they told me my oat scores did not fulfill the requirement. I have to let them know if I’m going to retake the oat and send them official scores by June 1...

Do you already have a day for the exam?

What else are you using to study!?!

Hey if you don't mind sharing, what were your OAT scores?

I still haven't heard back from Salus regarding my app. My OAT is coming up soon

Thanks!! It's technically not my 1st time, as I took it a couple years ago without studying at all. (dumbest move ever. got a terrible score probably the lowest on here...lol I had been planning to take a gap year and completely forgot about my registration. So I took it really quick before it expired)
But yeah if you don't count my rookie expired scores from undergrad that are from 2+ years ago then yes it will be my first time! 😛

Did you hear back from any other schools?

I haven't scheduled a day for the exam yet. I'm so nervous about it! Did they say what score you needed to get?
