PRS research fellowship in NYC

Hello,

I am a GS resident interested in PRS. Planning on taking 2 dedicated research years in plastics in NYC.
Saw on PS-RC that there are 3 labs with research positions (NYU, MSK, Cornell).
Is anyone familiar with those positions? Are they funded? Do you recommend one over another and if so, for which reason?
Any other funded opportunities in the city?
