I said i had lots of acne since HS and changed up my lifestyle ways because of it and because of that I got into fitness and living healthy more and it also led to my friends working out as well. I said that this is one of the motivating things that made me wanna become a doctor and promote health.

is this sounding okay?

Honestly it sounds kind of superficial at first glance. If you worded it more elegantly in the PS then maybe. But srs? You want to be a dr because you had zits?

well not directly beause of that but acne made me switch to a healthier lifestyle and i like living and promoting a healthy lifestyle

You should probably leave out the part about acne. Maybe just talk about how you started having a more healthy lifestyle, how it made you feel better all-around, and you got others involved in living healthily.

That sounds more like you are writing a PS to go into some kind of fitness industry like personal training....I mean, all health professions focus on people improving their health but what is it about medicine? Is it the deep scientific focus? Ability to go into many fields? Job security? Money? Ladies? Humanitarian based?

Thats better but I would still somehow explain how a career in medicine, specifically, will allow you to continue learning about those kinds of things. If you've done so, good job!

It is important to consider that acne isn't about just "having zits." It can have a lot of social and psychological tolls on the patient, and takes place in adolescence (most likely), which is a time of particular vulnerability. For example, bullying and self-esteem issues can lead to depression.

However, I agree that this might not be the best main topic for the whole PS. Maybe if you can run with learning that kind of sensitivity/empathy when bringing up acne, it might also be enlightening. Given that you actually felt that way of course.. Haha.
