I know this is kind of last minute, but would anyone (that is, anyone who has been here for a while and whose posts indicate they are a current pharmacy student) be willing to proofread my PS within the next couple days? Please send me a PM if you can. I didn't have much luck contacting anyone in the official proofreading thread. Thank you 🙂

No.
That's your own job.
And people could steal your PS.

That's almost as bad as saying "hey, could you proofread my scholarship app.?"

I had several real life friends proofread my personal statement, it's a pretty big deal and not that outlandish to want someone to make sure everything is grammatically correct. Having another set of eyes is a big help, seeing as sometimes your thoughts do not come out the same on 'paper'. Someone could steal his paper but as he stated he wants someone reputable on the forum.

Oh yeah I agree real life friends are fine. But someone on a forum that doesn't know you? Not so fine, in my opinion.

There is an entire sticky about this very thing at the top of this forum. A number of current/former pharmacy students are willing to help you with your PS.

Seriously guys -
How many times must we have the argument about online personal statement proofreading.

Read the disclaimers in the proofreading thread, and use it if you feel comfortable.

I had like 5 people on this forum read my statement - and it's with their help that I wrote a good PS and got into pharmacy school.
