When writing my PS, the main story/elements of it resolve around an event/duties I held while in the military but I do not explore the military specifically in the PS. However, the military and activities within are about half (if not more) of my work/activities section and 2 of my 3 most 'meaningful' experiences.

Is this ok? I have gotten comments on my PS along the lines of "You kind of lose the fact that you are in a military context, which is something that ADCOMs will really like." So, to remedy this would it be sufficient to just make a few more nods to the military aspect in the PS while still not focusing on it, whereas the W/A is heavily focused on what I did in the military and how it influenced me towards medicine.

General question for all students: Can major activities in your W/A section merely be mentioned briefly in the PS?

I think some ADCOMS might be surprised if they weren't included...
