It’s only for that one phone. So if you want to hear the phone ring from across the pharmacy and not 2 feet away, you do this on the closer phone. As in, youre just not gonna answer the calls anymore? Lol this is getting disturbingly unprofessional now. I understand its hard working for cvs but... just flat out ignoring calls?
Bingo. Team moral is up not hearing about a pharmacy call all damn day long. Don’t have time to baby sit people grandparents on the phone. I’d rather have LP stuff done since lately they have all been a bunch of b*tches, rx looking clean, ques clear and WB looking good. The new IVR should help but i’m taking initiative now. We got 3 registers going all day, multiple people at drop off helping people. It’s nice. Try it.I'm all for taking the phone(s) off the hook--with inadequate help, CVS is doing a disservice to the patients who are getting their Rxs prepared by a potentially distracted pharmacy hearing an incessant phone ring. To hear 'one pharmacy call' ALL DAY would be the equivalent of a whining baby. It's unprofessional NOT to take the phones off the hook.

I don’t get any tbh. Customers are taken care of, we’ll call the dr for them in person. Basically everything customer service. Just don’t answer the phone. There used to it now lol some don’t even call anymore they just come in. Train your patients. There pretty much like pets anways lolAny how many calls from corp do you get about people complaining you don't answer the phone? I do agree that something has to be done about how much time is wasted on the phone, 90% of calls are waste. I think it we should force all customers that use drive thru to have the app (and use it), guarantee lots of calls would stop.
It is amazing that just several years back CVS had metrics on how quickly the phone and drive thru intercom was answered. The goal was less than 20 seconds?
Thats CVS everything. Take it off and bye byeNow you know why. Take it off the score card and people stop doing it, lol
