Hello,

I am the PD at MossRehab's BIM (Brain Injury Medicine fellowship). I wanted to make the following public service announcement:

The MossRehab BIM fellowship is slightly hidden on ERAS. If you go to this link:

ERAS 2020 Participating Specialties & Programs

Fellowship programs are listed as two separate categories: Brain Injury Medicine (Neurology) and Brain Injury Medicine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation). The other 20 programs are all PMR affiliated. We are neurology affiliated and so they list us completely separately but we are a very PM&R based program with all of our core faculty in PM&R. We are also listed as "Albert Einstein Healthcare network program" this is because MossRehab's parent institution is Albert Einstein.

So again,

ERAS 2020 Participating Specialties & Programs

is the MossRehab Brain Injury Med fellowship program. We are a PM&R base program and Moss has a rich history in terms of training physiatrists and other rehab specialists. We are a TBI model system of care and have a well established and well known DoC program. The fellowship includes exposure to DoC as well as spasticity, ITB and robust research opportunities. If you are applying to BIM fellowships this cycle, don't forget to check us out under the Brain Injury Medicine (Neurology) link on ERAS, follow the above link or look up program ID 1894118001.

Thank you,

Miriam Segal MD
