Based on your experience with practice exams, what % of questions are pseudo discretes within passages? ie: no passage information is needed to correctly answer the question

Hmm it's hard to say as this varies from exam to exam but if I recall correctly I only got one "pseudo discrete" in my PS section while I can't remember anything related to the BS section. At the end of the day, most of the questions are not "find in the passage" and rely more on your own understanding of a certain concept, and your ability to link the passage info with your understanding.
Now if you're asking to see if you should memorize, then the answer is yes and no. Memorization, especially in bio, is important BUT memorization alone will either guarantee you an average or a bad score. It's imperative that you devote your time to mastering the concepts rather than force "swallowing" them.

In BS there are very few, they refer a lot to the passages. in PS if you know the stuff being described in the passage quite well already, then most are discrete-able after a quick skim.
