Has anyone heard of this "PSTIM"?
One of the guys in my group started to use this to see how it works. He said the patients he tried it on, so far, loved it.
sounds a little wacky to me.

-Does it work? Probably, for some, and short term only.

-How is it different than transcutaneous stim of the ear? It isn't, except the electrode is placed subcutaneously.

-Is it being billed fraudulantly? Probably by some that are billing it as peripheral nerve electrode implantation.

-Can you make money from this? Yes, it is typically a cash predominate business with patients having to fork over $250 each treatment and most get 3-4 treatments. Some of the companies are offering exclusive franchise opportunities for physicians.

-Are the physicians using it ethical? ????????
