Psyc Stats Science LOR?

Would a letter from a psyc stats professor count as a science letter if the course title is called PSYC XXX - Statistics I? It's basically a math class but under the psyc department because there are multiple equivalent versions at my school.

If it's clear what class your professor taught you, it will likely pass muster. Hard to say for every school, but I would give the benefit of the doubt there.
